Xp-e + IMS reflector does it work?

I tried a smooth P60 reflector with my Nailbender XP-E P60 drop in that came with an OP reflector. In short, I could not get a decent beam out of the smooth reflector.

I was a little surprised.

An IMS reflector may be different. Hopefully some has tried it. Actually, I just remembered that I have some 20mm IMS reflectors.

So, can you please try it and tell me if it works?IMS is for seoul and luxeon based leds ,as long as xp-e has identical beam profile it might wokr.

I pulled the pill off the P60 reflector and tried to put the IMS reflector over the LED, but the legs prevented me from seating the reflector all the way down.

I only have a few of these reflectors and am hesitant to sacrifice one. Judging from the beam I got from the smooth P60 reflector I'm not hopeful it would be good.

does the xp-e put out a lambertian radiation pattern? and is that what the reflector expects?
