XP-G in an Argo HP?

Would an XP-G work well in an Argo HP?

If I'm correct the Argo uses a Lux I side emitter (hourglass shaped) and the beam with a normal led like a xp-g will be crap.

If you can swap out the reflector as well you should be fine.

hi NoFair,

the older version (if still available) uses Lux 1 side emitter. the newer version branded under HP uses Cree LED.

If it uses a XR-E a XP-G won't give a good beam AFAIK.

Putting a better XR-E in it should work fine though.

I'm looking for a floodier beam anyways. I may have to give it a shot. or I might just buy an Apex Pro and mod it. Icant decide.
