XR-E dyno powered taillight

I got some of the Ledil Flare-C optics for a taillight. My headlight is going to be a 3x XPG. I am thinking this may not be the best system design, but I'd like to try it. I'm going to put the XRE under the chain stay so that it's not quite as obnoxious to other riders.

Any thoughts?

Good idea. I hate sitting in a bunch with a superflash pointed directly at my eyes. :duh2:

You running it off the same driver as the front light?

nothing worse than a flashing light pointed straight into your eyes.

I'm not sure about the driver being the same. If I do that, there is going to have to be a way of switching it in case there is a wiring or other failure to the rear light.

I'd parallel it off of one of the XPGs with a series resistor.
That way you can switch it on and off and mess around with the drive power.
