Looks awesome.....can't wait to see one in person.

Re: Z2S now up on SF website!!!

I'm w/ AOW on the bezel but think I'll stick w/ my Z2 as I prefer the Z59 when working it w/ my HG.

Do like the 160 OTF though but I've got an M61 in the Z2.

I hope it isn't as lousy as the AZ2 in output (and I'm by no means an output snob). I'm guessing, though, that it's going to be the same, minus the secondary LED's, and that's a shame.

Surefire Z2-S LED CombatLight with Strobe

here is something new from Surefire.

http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main...l&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Z2-S-Consumer

it is the Surefire Z2-S LED CombatLight with Strobe.

you have all the Z2-S features

plus

now you can disable an intruder/target with flashing led light.

is it that neat?

wish it (strobe) is available in the E2D LED (this model warrants this feature because this is supposed to be a defensive tool).

Surefire? please? E2D LED with strobe?

:grin2:

p.s. i think they (Surefire) guys learned something from Fenix guys. now if ony Surefire will incorporate S.O.S. type flashing..hmmm surely it will not take surefire that long.

As my collection has grown, I've come to appreciate lights with simpler operation more. Personally, I find the UI of the E2D LED great. Two modes - high and low. Can't think of a time I actually ever used the SOS mode on any of my lights. And in the need ever arises, I can perform that manually with the momentary function. This is not to dissuade you from purchasing the light. It's merely my own opinion.

I don't have a Z2 but shouldn't the Z59 work with the Z2-S as well. I hope so I only want one if the Z59 functions on the Z2-S.
