Hi all,
Basically I was supposed to be buying Lithium ion batteries, charger etc but Im not sure as I have a load of nimh, alkalines and lithium primaries.
This has led me to possibly purchasing a ZTS battery tester.
My Dad has voltmeters etc he was in the Royal Signals in the Army (Telecomms etc.) but I feel the ZTS type tester would be easier to use for me as im useless at Physics due to a poor poor teacher (My excuse anyway )
My question is should I go for the ZTS mbt-1 or should I go for the smaller mini? The price difference in the UK is about £40 give or take. Would I be shooting myself in the foot by going with the mini?
Does anyone have one or both that could give me feedback?
I use CR123a primaries in the majority of my lights. Though I also use AA and AAA for my usual edc type lights. I have had nimh batteries for a fair few months and feel they are pretty done in.
P.s I did work in a camera shop so I have basic understanding in nimh and primaries with regards eventual reduction in the ability to hold a charge etc. I AM NOT great with lithium ion batteries as ive had little experience with them and my lights.
As always I appreciate the help and kindness of the CPF community.
