Not sure if this is the place to post this....but it is for a homemade light I suppose!
I'm after any broken LCD TVs or monitors. I don't require the electronics or LCD panel at all, just the housing, preferably in reasonable condition (any cracks etc repairable).
The purpose is to put LED lighting inside the old housing and create a wash light.
If there is anyone with something suitable in Australia, even better in the Sydney metro area (so I can pick it up), that wants an old piece of junk off their hands please contact me. Better than putting it out for council cleanup.
Sorry, it probably wouldn't be worth my while shipping stuff from overseas, unless there were five or more.
