my C-2 has a stock SF tailcap on it.

Whenever i swing left and right, i can feel *something* moving with the action, which i think is the contact springs of the tailcap.

When i remove the tailcap to change batteries, , say from constant on position, abt 3/2 of the way of the thread, the light sort of flashes momentarily. ( maybe 0.5 sec). is this normal?

The contact spring in the tailcap looks flimsy. if i shake it, it looks and feels like its gonna go anyday...

are all the above an indication of a soon to be problem?

Thanks.

On my SF.M2, SF.M3, SF.6P, SF.9P, the stock tail cap twisty switch does pretty much what you'ved described with the exception of the "flimsy" feel when shaken part that you alluded to. Other than that, I don't know. . .

My G2 turns on when I unscrew the tailcap. Other's have posted that theirs do the same thing, and I called Surefire and they said that that's normal.

The spring seems pretty sturdy...
