Reylight generations question

I had a moment of weakness and my wallet sprung open, on accident, while i was perusing Reylight flashlights. Later on i was looking at reviews talking about generation 3 and 4 and so on, but it struck me that i can't find a comprehensive explanation for what changes have taken place in each generation.

Does anyone know what's happened between them? The differences etc.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of historical documentation. I've read Rey started with designs with Maratac and Lumentop. Then went on his own. I have a twisty copper Reylight from 2016 ish. As for variations between batches, I've not read anything. Maybe someone will chime in with real facts!
