KL4 on an E2D, Which Tailcap?

I have searched this and do not understand the results I came up with. I have a black KL4 head enroute for my Surefire E2D. Will my existing E2D tailcap always be on high or will it be two stage? If it will only be on high, can you give me a link to a pre-made tailcap that I can use to make it a two stage? I will not be able to do a mod because I will screw it up. Thanks for the advice.

Welcome Patrick,
E2D tailcap is not 2 stage, so only 1 brightness level.
SF 2 stage switches are available for SF L1, L2, A2 but not for executive series. For 3rd party "2 stage switch", checkout those at Shoppe.

McE2S is what you want. Maybe you could even find a way to make it up like the original E2D through machining or something. Or have somebody put the electronics in the old switch..
