If I replaced the LED in my L1P with a TWOH, would I likely see any difference?

Not sure if it would be that noticeable or not...... maybe a little. Maybe a little whiter in tint too.

I replaced my stock circuit and LED with a UX1L LED and a MM circuit optimized for a Li-Ion 14500 cell! It draws about 1.7 amps and drives the lux up to around 1.7 amps with a Li-Ion. Bright and the throw is absolutely amazing!

:eek:oo:

Agree with Randy,

I heard the L1P uses R binned lux 1. If so, and you running your TWOH at the same current L1P drive its R lux, you wont see minimally difference, if any. heck, you might even get dimmer output, or worse color, since the WO bin is rated at 700 mA drive, not the drive current the L1P is giving out.

If however, you gonna change the circuit to say like, 700 mA output, then it would be more feasible to go with TWOH. Even then, the advantage might not be THAT noticeable. Afterall, IIRC, overdriven R is closing to T bin lux III.

just my penny :D

So, then again I'll ask, . . . . what would YOU do with a TWOH to get "the most out of it"?

Another project obviously.
