Not exactly a forum, but loads of info: Mountain Bike reviews. I hate to say this, but there's a couple of old threads where we've talked about this.

It contains hundreds of reviews of different bike products including lights too. I use this site often to do research.
However, I warn you guys that several women members and men are down right rude. I think they come from the worse social structure in the US.

What kind of nuts would discuss lights and bikes?

Lights may be a hobby here, but for half the year, having the right light is sometimes literally a matter of life and death daily with people putting in 20-40 miles daily in the dark.
