Dorcy Super 1W (Rechargable Batteries?)

Like many others, I am impressed with the Dorcy 1W - C123 version. Can anyone tell me which rechargables can be relatively safely used with this light? Can that "hot" rechargable that Battery Station sells be used? Many thanks.

I have been using a 4.2v fresh off the charger battry for a couple of months and havent had any problems. Its used mostly in short bursts of 2-5 mins and it does get warm but that means to me that it transfer heat good.

I've been using 3 volt protected in mine with no problems.

I have an Ultralast (Frys) that comes out of the charger at about 3.7 in mine.

I use it a lot like Jayb79, and no problems yet!
