Behold ...the new JET_NIX...LOL

Well Im still patiently waiting for my Jetbeam .
A fellow CPFer was selling a jet beam CR123 Body, so why not...parts are parts..
I could always use another body when my Jet Beam order comes in.

So I when received the Jet Beam CR123 Body..., I looked at my Fenix L1P and I said to myself...Why not??

So here are the results..

All I did was find a spring....and it worked..
I wanted to try a rechargeable CR123 , but it wouldnt fit in the jetbeam body..

Nice, I read that the parts of these 2 lights are 'somewhat' interchangeable but not absolutely perfect and not recommended.

Are you driving the L1P head with a 3v CR123? I think that's a little too much right?

Anyhow, doesn't look all too bad

After all, the 2 lights look so similar!

I just read some threads...not a pun...that they dont recommend putting the two together...I read it after I already did the deed...
Oh well..hope its not ruined too bad...

Im just missing my JetBeam...everyone seems to be getting theirs..
Thats what I get for liking tritium..

I was using a 3v CR123...and it seems to be working fine , for now..
I havent turned it on too long..just short bursts...

I just hope I get my Jetbeam soon before I ruin my fenix...

Something went wrong with my aa tube thread, the threads are very thin. I wouldnt do that anymore until you get your jetbeam .and as your wating for yours, mine is with emil as we speek.
