I have a 4d mag lite and i am trying to find the best possible drop in replacement bulb for it. I have heard that carley lamps makes a bulb that will work is this the best that you all have seen. If so Where in the heck can you get one???
Is Carley lamps pr bulb the best output for 4d Maglite?

I recently posed a similar question here. A few replies, but no real answers. I've been in contact with a salesman at Carley who has in the past sent me some samples of some small parts. I'm planning on emailing him and asking him for a couple of lamp samples.

Same here on the Halogen Radio Shack bulb. Whiter + crisper. Add the WriteRight and you get a really good beam.
