All this talk of exploding lithium batteries has made me gun shy about using an AA-sized lithium cell in my L1T to get maximum output. Do any dealers sell just the barrel part, so I can use two alkaline AA's instead?

I don't think you have anything to worry about since it only uses one cell.

I would also like to have an L2T body for my my L1T, just to have it available for more light when space is not an issue. I guess I'll just keep checking fenix-store.com to see what becomes available. In the meantime, if anyone knows a way to get just the body...
