New Brinkmann Flashlight for modding? **NO** its plastic

I was at Wally's World yesterday and saw a new (to me at least) flashlight that I thought would be good for modding. The packaging just said Brinkmann long life LED - - -. Its model # 809-1050-011.56 Its thick about like a D cell light but this holds 2 AA batts. What I thought was interesting is looking into the front - the optic seems to be highly magnified. That suggested more light output and a farther "throw". Hmmmm, wondering if it can be modded to hold a LS. Then it would scream. Its $11.46 I think.

I wonder if anyone has heard about this flashlight.

**EDITED** I just checked it out more better and its all plastic = NG for the LS

I thlnk that would be the "longlife"
