I have a Pelican Heads up light that has a PR base bulb in it. This light uses 4 AA batteries. The problem is that the bulb it came with is very yellow and not very bright. Anyone know of a bulb that will work better in this light.
Thanks
JT

The bulb that comes with the Responder 4AA is really good on 4 AA alkalines. BrightGuy has them on his sight. On the bulb it says XPR4AA. I don't know who makes it. If you have rechargeables, the 3D krypton does very well. TX

Brightguy also has a single nichia white LED PR replacement bulb for 4 cells (6 volt). you need to click on the PT 4AA headlamp and then accessories to find it.

I tried the 3D krypton and it was much better than the original. I still would like a little more punch any other ideas?
Thanks
