Although the HDS EDC is an awesome light, it is still an LED light. The E2e is incandescent and isn't quite the same. Just so you know. Some people prefer the incandescent light color.
I own both E2e and HDS EDC. I much prefer the HDS. The throw is pretty similar and I like the beam and color redition of LED lights.
