Through the generosity of 'foursevens' i was able to make the following beamshots available on the Fenix L1P Colored LED lights. I threw in a few other lights for good measure. The lineup includes the following lights:

(A) Fenix L1P - 1w RED
(B) Fenix L1P - 3w RED
(C) Fenix L1P - 3w AMBER
(D) Fenix L1P - 3w GREEN
(E) Fenix L1P - 3w BLUE
(F) Fenix L1P - 3w CYAN
(G) ARC-AA - ROYAL BLUE
(H) Fenix E1
(I) Fenix L0P
(J) ARC-P AAA
(K) HDS 60XRGT on MAX
(L) Surefire L4

The wallshots are from exactly 8ft away. The shots of the plant are approx the same distance (8ft).

It took me about an hour to setup the camera to give what i consider the best visual representation of the 'actual' output of these lights. I hope you like the pics.

From the Colored LED lights to my eyes the AMBER, CYAN, and GREEN give the best color rendition at night. The RED and ROYAL BLUE are very specific in purpose and make things difficult for overall visual field viewing. I definantly love the AMBER and GREEN.

If you like colored LED lights i would highly recommend getting your hands on one or more of these. Now i must decide which one(s) to keep. The more i use them the more i like them all.

http://fenix-store.com is the place to get them and 'foursevens' is definantly the man to do business with.

C'MON YOU KNOW YOU WANT THEM ALL!!!! :grin2:

Enough advertising...on to the beamshots.

Looks like the Red, Cyan and Royal Blue get the most spill of the colored ones, while the Surefire gets plain old daylight. :lolsign:

Wow, does that LOP have a weak battery or is the E1 that much brighter?

Nice colors too!

Fixed now. I had the images reversed. The L0P is indeed brighter at 33 lumens vs 12 lumens for the E1. :grin2:

Yes, that's a monster L4 you've got there. I like the way the royal blue makes the toothpicks fluoresce (on top of the fridge).

They should make a red orange 3 watter. I think it is around 190 lumens for 3 watts!!

Upon further nightime use inside and out i tried a 2 stage-tailcap on each of the colors and actually it really helps. I find that each color is very useful and now i think i must have one of each color. These are great lights. :grin2::grin2:

I bought one of the Royal Blue L1P's and love it. A deep blue, almost purple beam, that causes things to fluoresce across the room. I had no specific use for this color, I just like blue, and this was everything I could hope for! Looks like I need a 2-stage tailcap, now, though...

Nice beanshots. Thanks for sharing.
Are you able to show one more comparison pic from L1P 1w white and HDS 60XRGT.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm, if only they offered a 'six pack', I'd be so all over that. Even considering getting all of them as it is, but damn thats a lot of $ .... but still.. yes... want those.

Hey iNDiGLo, the cyan unit you have actually looks cyan. Does it really look like that in person, or is it more like the "traffic light" green?

I have a cyan unit (Q2H) from 4sevens, and it's just a touch on the blue side of traffic green. On the other hand, the Mr. Bulk mod I bought from Sigman has a "true" cyan Lux V emitter, I think around 490nm, and seen "live" it looks to my eye like your pic of the cyan.
