Want to swap emitter on an old stock Olight M3XS-UT

Hello. I would like to try my hand at swapping out the stock XPL-Hi emitter on this M3XS-UT that I've had lying around for years.

I have some soldering experience but have never done this before.

What would be a recommended "modern" emitter to use that would improve the tint and have as much or better throw as the stock emitter.

• Preferably one that can just be dropped in and soldered to work

With that in mind, it would have to fit within the stock centering ring unless there is somewhere to buy a new centering ring that fits the new emitter

• I'm thinking Osram w2 if possible
