Has anyone used these cells before? Are they protected?

I have a few that I got from work.
They are not protected from overcharging or over-discharging. That means that if you charge it too much (bad charger) or let it drain too far it will be damaged.
There are some internal safety measures to prevent the venting with flames scenario that most users want to avoid
Use them as you would use any other unproteced cell.
I use mine in a U2 and Quicksilver V and get great runtimes and have had no issues. I use a DSD charger since it does safely charge unprotected cells.
