10W HID in an Ultrastinger?? Smokin!!

I understand the current bulb in the Ultrastinger is a 10 watt halogen. Does anybody know of a 10w HID bulb that would fit this Bi-pin configuration? Perhaps from the UK light cannon? This would not be as 'tactical' a light, but it would effectively double the US's already formidable output, and correct me if I'm wrong on this, but it should also be friendlier to the batteries...

Combine this bulb conversion with a higher capacity sub-c stick (3000mah as opposed to 1800mah), and it would be a massive upgrade.

I think there is a lot more to a HID than just a bulb.

Every HID I've ever seen has a head much larger than an US. Is there a HID smaller than the UK LC100?

There is the ballast which needs to be placed somewhere in the US, I don't think you will find space for that ballast. The ballast is what drives the HID bulb.
