Fenix L2P body/tail with L2T head?

has anybody tried to use Fenix L2P body/tail with L2T head? will the 2-stage still works?

i think i like the L2P body better than the newer L2T body, but want the L2T 3W head w/ 2-stage

the body of L2P seems to be *less slippery* in my hand. i have seen that people on cpf already put a heat strink tube over the L2T body for better grip

My L2P body won't screw in easily to my L1T/L2T head--it's very tight. It could probably be forced...

For the L2P body to work with the L_T head, you will have to strip the anodized finish off the threads that screw into the head. The L_T head requires electrical contact with the threads for the "low" mode to work. The threads are deeper in the L_T head also, so you may have to add a spacer inside the head so it will tighten completely for the "high" mode to work.

I personally think it would be more trouble than it's worth...
