I miss the E1e I had a while ago...

I had a black HAIII E1e a while back and sold it in parts and now I miss it! :sigh: I have to tell ya I was impressed with that little guy! I want to find a nice LED mod for it. There was some talk about putting the SMJLED 2 in it but I would need to know how. Gotta sell some more junk to get one. I even have a Kydex holster from Litemania on my dresser for it.

Any good mods I should know about for it?

Well, if you remove the bulb from the original lamp assembly, you have a perfect base for a 5mm LED with the bottom ring sanded off. And IIRC, the lamp assembly offers enough space for a small driverboard.

Bummer KDOG3.

I have one that rests on my dresser for my wife's convenience. Its her pocket light for our evening strolls.

Why mod a perfect pocket incan? If you want a LED in that form factor there are many many options available. It seams everybody and there brother have a cool "Pocket Rocket."

Just my 2 cents...
