Fit a Big D bulb in an Ultrafire 12P?

Has anyone tried to mod the Ultrafire 12P (4x 123A) incan light with the Pelican Big D Hi or Low bulbs? Probably have to fit it with 2x 18650 instead too.

Or how about any other mods on the Ultrafire 12P?

I haven't used the 12P explicitly, but have used several Maglites with two 18650s to run the high-beam lamp. So far, out of two lights, one of them had about 15 minutes of runtime on it before blowing the lamp. (Using LG 2200 mah 18650s.) In that 15 minutes, the Maglite head was very hot, but I'm not sure that heat was what killed the lamp.

I see, do u have other ROP setups with high lamp running 6x AA?

If so how long do those run for before blowing?

No, but I do have an ROP running three CR123s and the LOW ROP lamp, and it's been running fine for months.

I have the Ultrafire 12 and bored out the body for 2 18650s and use a SF P91 in it, I get over 40 min at full brightness and it starts dimming just a little for another 10-15 min. I lost some keys in the yard the other night and I chose this light to be my guide. It took 45 min for me to find them but I had good light the whole time!

The only part that really got hot was the head, the body was not bad at all but the head burn the crap out of you!
