Wanted: Opinions from the pros!
I am running a review of the new K2 KROMA in the "Reviews" section entitled "Surefire K2 KROMA & KROMA Milspec", Post #40, and I need help on the heat issue.
In the review, for the first five runtime tests, I encountered rapid, and (for me), uncomfortably high heat buildup while using the "High-White" position by itself or in any combination with something else. In the interest of being conservative and responsible on behalf of the others, I quoted a recommended runtime of 10 minutes, with 15 minutes maximum, to avoid abuse.
The trouble is, I am not experienced enough with this issue to give advice to others. I just know what makes ME uncomfortable in MY limited experience. Any helps from the pros would be appreciated by all!
