Nice find. I've often looked up various fixtures and found, where the data is available, they are often very lacking and cause lots of lumen losses.

I would have loved to put the reference to the article. The problem is that I cannot access it; I've got that stupid ad running in an endless loop. Without access to the article I could not judge of its interest and decided not to reference it.

Is it just me...or do they quote the XR-E at different lm/watt levels? 85 then 71?

There are differences, minimum, typical, and it also changes with drive current.
