Hi guys,

Just found out some interesting news in another thread, and rather than hijack that one I started a new one here - seems like the R/O luxes are spec'd at 1400ma? I was wondering if anyone knew how hard a RCR2 in the stock circuit of a SmartFire CR2 would be driving the LED? I just bought a R/O on a whim and modded it into that light, and it's pretty bright but it'd be cool if I could get it even brighter. 192 lumens is pretty nuts, if possible.

As expected, the focus is slightly different from the white Lux III that was in there - there's a tiny, tiny void in the center of the hotspot (well, there's no real hotspot, it's almost all pure wide flood). Looks like I might have to carve the bottom of the reflector down to move it forward...

Make sure to insulate the slug of the R/O...
Should give you some practice for the next generation of Seoul emitters :p

Yeah, thanks for watchin out =) I used some AA compound b/t the LED and the heatsink, kind of cheating. Hope it keeps working!
