Hi guys

I guess I have too much speartime. I just measured my Surefire L4 and constructed, based on the data, a new body for this torch.

The work was done in a 3D construction program for cnc-mills.

The body has an X-formed rollaway protection with a hole for lanyard attachment. It also makes it easy to hold the torch between trigger finger and middle finger and pusch th clickie switch.
There is also a hole (4mm H7) to put a peaked aligning pin in.
This is meant as glassbreaker.

The only thing I didn´t find was the thread standard Surefire uses for the head and tailcap.

Anyone knows which screw thred they use? please tell me.

Interestet in turning it into a piece of matel? just ask me for the file.
All you need is a simple miller and a small lathe and a 17 mm drill.

PS: If anyone finds some spelling mistakes, he can keep them;)

Surefire E series head: 13/16 x 20 tpi
Surefire E series tailcap: 11/16 x 20 tpi

for reference:
the major dia. of the head threads measure .809"
and the tail threads measure .680"
that makes for about a class 2 fit.
