L1P beam question

Hi, I like the overall output of my L1P, but would love it more if it didn't have such a tight hotspot. Is there a way to refocus the reflector or a mod to give my L1P a little more spill and smoother beam pattern?

You can also put something over the head of the L1P like a finger of a white laboratory glove or something like that.
