Hi guys,

After searching CPF archives, google, manufacturer's website, and anywhere else I could think of, I could not find the answer to this question, so I ask you:

Is it possible to use CR123A rechargeable batteries with the Twin-Task 2L flashlight? The output of most of these rechargeables is at about 4.2v at first, which is much more than the 3.6 of mains batteries. That's why I ask.

I sure hope one of you has my answer. I'm sick of looking!

LED/xenon combination light, Correct? You will have insta-flash. Meaning, you will have to go and buy replacement bulb as soon as you try it.

But you may be able to use the 3.0 V RCR123 cells which are regulated cells but they will give you shorter run times. Have no idea what would be run times myself.

Have fun.
