IMS20 vs 20mm optics, for cree & seoul

Kahtod, left... IMS20 right...

optic is shorter... a great weight saving as well...

Triple Seoul modded IMS20mm reflector at 1amp

Triple Seoul 20mm optic at 1amp

Triple Cree modded IMS20mm reflector at 1amp

Triple Cree 20mm optic at 1amp

as you can see the optic kicks the IMS20 ***, for cree beam pattern... :touche:

but it must be said that the IMS20 was made for the luxeon star & was only modded to kinda work...

What Cree optic are you using and do you have a link to the source?

So 3 of the cree optic fits in a mag head? Too bad 4 won't.

EDIT: Oh I see the host now. That looks like the gun from MIB movie! Would rock with 3-true color Cyans!

And 3 aspherical lenses for a laser blast of light! haha

I tested this light against my L&M ARC hid... the IMS20's kicked its butt... can't wait to test the optics against the HID!!
