I'm very interested too.
In addition, I would like to see the discharge curve, especially with 18650 cell.

i could have sworn some a lot more people ordered this drop-in (all of first batch was ordered up, in the 40 plus units at least)... especially several respected forum members who do all sorts of testing.... oh well... waiting for more inputs and comments...

I tested the first batch of Cree drop-in.
Used my 6A/168a
I got 3+hours with little or no dimming.As per my gear 120L out the front.
On 123a ( primary) I got 2 hours full power then it slowly dimmed for 1+more.
Best I have tested by far : lumens per run time.
Also Tested quite a few diffusers on same light.When diffued with Frosty con-tact paper this light is a L4 killer.
Of all the current cree lights this combo is hands down my favorite.

I bought the sniper with the cree drop-in. Couldn't be happier. I also bought a 150 lumen incandescent drop in and ran them back to back and I decided to stick with the cree. The versatility olf running the fantastic 168A rechargeable or 2 X 123 is great also. Can't wait for the 1 amp drop in.

I had one for a brief moment as I soon realized it was a smooth reflector one that I got instead of the orange peeled one I wanted/expected.
It's robust and seems to have good build quality. The only thing I don't understand is why at the outside face tip of the reflector, it's one step lower, thus when mounted in a SF, it touches/sits on the lens, whereas my other Wolf Eyes bulbs never did that.
Oh and it DOES work with the G2.

It'd be great if the next one could handle 3-8 volts, so it would be ok with a pair of 18650s.

I keep the 6a/cree with me always now..EDC I guess.For me its the best overall combo by far.Got it from PTS mike.

Can somebody who has the WE module measure the diameter of the outermost tip of the reflector from edge to edge? I'm not looking for the diameter of the wider ring slightly behind the tip of the module which, rather the edge.
Hey Mike do you think you can measure one for me?
The reason is, I think if I can add an o-ring in the front rim area, the module won't press on the lens.

I'm wainting impatiently for the D26 700mA and 1000mA Cree drop-in.
Hope the regulation is perfect, even @ 3,7V. Very important.
Both modules are OK for use within 3,7V - 13V range.
Correct ?

I, too, am curious about the new module. Do you know if there will be a 1000mA version for the 6ax? I'd like to buy a flashlight that runs on 123s.
