TerraLUX drop in for 1aa minminimag

Anybody know if you can use any of the terralux drop ins in a cut down 1aa mini mag? I'm most interested in the 1w cree uv.

About 6 months ago I got a terralux 1w white (luxeon) drop in that came fitted into a 1AA mag clone body with the Terralux clicky tail cap on. It stated that the drop in, clicky and reflector could be put into a 2aa mag and was the same drop in as sold for the 2AA mag. It worked OK, less than half as bright as when fitten to a 2AA though, so it had a boost circuit of sorts. I don't know about the UV cree though, it would need a higher Vf than white I guess? You could use a 14500 Li ion, that would give the volts needed to equal the 2AA.
