Im not technical at all, and have no measuring devices, but this drop in is BRIGHT. I don't believe it's 240 lumens, no way it's 4x brighter than a P60, but it'll throw light down 2 blocks, im afraid to walk the dog with it for fear of ticking off neighbors.
you don't have a digital multimeter by any chance do you ?
im seeing that most of the dropins out there are about 700mah to the led... so off a pair of Li ions they ought to draw... eh .4 amps?
would you say it is twice as bright as your stock 6P lamp?

I'll definately say 2x the brightness of a P60, maybe even 2.5-3, it throws like CRAZY and that beam stays nice for that throw too.
