Custom Flashlights?

Is anyone, that you know of, still building custom lights from scratch, for sale? There used to be a small, but devoted core, that took orders and built everything from the customizing the body to the internals of the light.

Lately I can't seem to find anyone still doing this. Some of the people I was familiar with have migrated off the CPF. Some have left the flashlight world altogether. And that fine. Life moves on.

But I have a very, very specific idea for a light, interior and exterior, that I'd like to have built. If anyone can point me in the right direction? I'd be most helpful.

Just a guess - but - time and money. There are a lot of machining steps to make the various parts. To make one of something from scratch can be very expensive.

It can and is being done, just perhaps not as easy as we had in the past.
