My Weekend Fun

My family and I went to Boone, NC for the weekend. The first day we hiked up Grandfather Mountain(Elevation: 5,964 feet) with my 4 year old who took it like a trooper. The next day we got to go cave exploring at Linville Caverns. Best of all, I got my Fenix P3D on Friday just before we left for the mountains. That little light lit up those caves really nice. I am glad I made the purchase and glad that I got to give it a real test while enjoying family leisure at the same time. BTW....As much as I like my JetBeam C-LE, the P3D just 's it. Right now I am EDC'ing both the P3D and C-LE, along with an Fenix LOP-SE on my key chain. Here are a few pictures of my weekend. It's a .gif, so just sit back and enjoy the slideshow.

Thanks. The clip is from one of my RiverRock AA lights(3rd from the left). It fits perfectly.

I rode my bike up Grandfather mountain in 2004 when I rode the Blue Ridge Parkway! That view looks familiar.
