Any word on whether or not SF plans on producing cree edition M4's or even M3's? I really love the look of those lights....

Total Noob Question; sorry.

You can get an M4 and drop in one of those Arcmania 5w tower modules or some of the newer Cree or SSC tower modules. Run on 2 x 17670 or 4 x CR123as. Good thing is you can switch back to incan anytime too :D

Here are some good threads on it :-

Not sure whether the blank modules are still available but they do appear in the B/S/T here and there in the various flavours; the 5w luxeon and sometimes a Seoul or Cree. Their runtime depends on the converter that is used; from what I know, most of the 5w modules use a 1A driver, so you can estimate the runtime on that.

If you choose to build your own and use a lower drive current converter, then you can get 3-4 hours runtime, no problem :D
