There is a major shortage of the components to make Zinc Red and Zinc Orange Glow in the Dark Pigments. To make matters worse, there is only one factory that now manufactures it. I understand the whole factory is smaller than most people's living room.

I predict the zinc based Red and Orange glow pigments will soon become unobtanium and may very well become fully extinct.

If you think you may want these colors for future projects, I would get some now from whichever supplier you use for your glow in the dark needs.

Glow Inc. is currently out of Zinc Red, but has some being shipped now which can be backordered. We currently have the only sizeable stash of Zinc Orange (about 500 lbs) in the world. But one of our regular manufacturing customers is acquiring funding to buy whatever stock we have left.

In other news, I am now back from my yearly summer pyrotechnic travel/vacation. The Glow Inc sponsored team won the fireworks choreography competition for the 3rd year in a row. If some of you want to see the videos, check them out here:

That's a bummer. I only used a little red powder for my mods, but they were very dramatic. I'll probably buy a little more.
