Fisher Space Beam

Has anyone had first hand experience with the Fisher Space Beam? Sounds interesting for a chrome 1xAAA powered $20 light. An idea of runtime would be much appreciated. Anyone who owns one feel like doing a mini-review?

I think that was probably 1250 millillumens.

I just ordered one,maybe a rebel will fit in there behind the lens.

I'm sure it's a typo. It's either 1.250 lumens (which is odd to carry to the 3rd decimal place), 12.50 lumens, or some measure of lux at some distance (maybe one meter).

How about giving us a review prior to you tinkering with it?? And after also, of course...

Looks like a good light. Doesn't appear to have an attachment point. Also, the only LED color option is blue *yuk*.

Yeah, pity no red or green etc , but...blue ....with chrome!!! - I could like that alot!!!

It's the kind of thing the Men in Black would carry.

Another website indicates it is a twisty - much like the CMG Sonic, but with a momentary (?) and a focusewd beam - like the Inova X1 version 1.
I don't know why, but the same site also offers two colours of ink for this - although I am sure it is a mistake.

It is available in both blue and white.

Sorry, I was referring to colored LEDs, and excluding white from that group.

It's probably just a 5mm LED, and most likely not that big deal to swap it out for another.

True, keep that green LED handy!!

I wonder if it's similar to Rayovacs 1AAA pen style LED light. If someone gets this Fisher light, let us know what you think.

I agree the spotlight like beam describes the X1 (orignal) to a T. I really likt my orignal X1's they are actually a pretty unique flashlight.\

I like the idea of a nice spot flashlight.

They are certainly handy when called for! I keep a Gen 1 & a Gen 2 paired up. They compliment each other!

trying to figure out how they compare the thing to a spotlight, give it's "only" 12.5 lumen, lol.
