I have been looking forward to receiving my Premium Cree Q5 LED drop in for my G2 from Bug Out Gear. They were due Oct 29. They received 20 pcs. When I checked yesterday I was told I was the 21st person to pre-order. It figures. You gotta be carefull doing that to a Flashaholic. I could have trouble breathing or anything! hehe

At least more are on order so the wait begins again.

Weird. I thought I was in the second batch, because of when I ordered, but I got an email yesterday, saying they shipped it. It should be here tomorrow. I'll have to take the Malkoff out of my 6PD to test the Q5. I still haven't decided on a second host. I may go for one of the plastic G's, or a P9.

Since I think I've got a two week ( at least ) wait. Let us all know how it works and if the claimed 230 lumens seem real.
