P3D Q5 with 3.6

Just got my P3D Q5 , does running 3.6 lithiums cause the p3d to overheat same as the LOD head overheats with 10440's.

And is there any appreciable increase in lumins running the higher 3.6 voltage batteries in the p3d.

The P3D uses a pretty good buck circuit that can handle 12v input, so I think a combined 8.4v should be fine for the light. All of the levels exist because it uses a buck circuit and not a boost circuit.
