Long time flashaholic, broke the addiction with an addiction to retroreflective tape, and now am swinging back.

http://www.terraluxcorp.com/products/MaxStar5.php?PHPSESSID=2b5cc1aa18505a574f7b21d80f14a566

Battery junction has the green version, and if I remember correctly so did led-replacement.

So, is this product vaporware, or was it pulled? or did it get pushed to the back burner because of the initial 'issues' with the TLE-6ex/B?
Can anyone help?

Thanks.

My thinking, in the pre-LED and early LED days, was it is financially untenable to keep with the lumen [blood] lust. So just improve the return to the eyes.

These guys have helped.

I've thought about putting red/green on the back of the vertical blinds for the x-mas season. Take a 6" engineering grade tape, split it axially, and put it on the blinds.

You could also do tricolor flags (France, Italy)

Thanks for the welcome.

Nice, but I was hoping it would work on a 2D cell Mag. (Red usually has the lower voltage)
I only got a 2D red from the lowes sales.
Nuts.

I just loaded mine into a 2C equipped with 3 CR123A's lithiums. It fires right up.

Its so bright, I'm not yet sure how well it works at preserving night vision, but it does have some interesting reflective properties: Seeing through tinted windows, giving people/animals red-eyes (without a camera), and making reflective things (street signs and tail lights) glow from hundreds of feet away.
