Terralux Ministar2 Extreme died....

Was not more than 6 mos old either!Back to the dependable (but less bright), Nightize 3 LED conversion for my minimag 2AA.Just bought one of the new 2AA 3W LED Maglight models and although it puts out the light,the construction is not as solid as my minimag.The focusable beam is nice,but am wondering what the operating time is with 2AA batteries.May take back for a refund.Anybody have one of these?Will take any feedback.BTW,been awhile since I was here,so if I missed the obvious please inform.Thanx-Gearhead

I haven't see multiple images of the Ministar, but if you check out my other thread about the lack of TLX-6EXB for the 3D mag. There is a serious lack of heat management comparing it to what I've seen in other Mag mods.

I figured it would be fine with low output but the drop in gets hot very fast.

Im guessing down the line mine will do the same as yours.

My drop in did have a 1yr warranty. I'd hope yours does as well.
