Jeff,

What is the run time on the M6 (Combo) and what brightness (lumens) that this runs at on highest setting. I'm very interested here!!

This is from the original thread.........I will see if I can find more info;
the "high" was bumped to 950ma

ARC mania

The three brightness levels are as follows:

Low - approximately 50ma
Medium - 350ma
High - 900ma (recently increased)

I've gone through the theoretical runtime numbers. The big Surefire with the 2x 17670 (3200mA total), 3.7 rechargeable cells will run-

High- 2 hours, 20 minutes (at a 750ma drive current)
Medium- 5 hours, 10 minutes
Low- 53 hours, 20 minutes or 2 days & 5 ½ hours.

Yes, the input voltage is 7.4v minimum to 13 volts max.

Re: FS: Tower Module II, Surefire M6; HDS, TnC

OK, I made an error and will correct.............it is a Seoul P4

hate to mention this but there has been a slight change in plan and hope this is OK with all on the list. I was doing comparasions with the XX1T and a Seoul Semi P4 rated at 240 lumens at a 1 amp drive current and found the P4 to be brighter as well as producing less heat. Also, the P4 has a longer life than a Lux V and is more efficient. Instead of putting an XX1T Lux V on the module, I have put the P4 on instead. Is this acceptable? If acceptable, the modules will ship in 24 hours by express.

Thanks Griz... I was mulling this over and I figured that it would go fairly fast. You made my decision for me; it is a beautiful light!

Not sure I understand exactly, the module is being made or you have it?
Thanks

Re: FS: Tower Module II, Surefire M6; HDS, TnC

The levels are changed by simply pressing the momentary tailcap or twisting the tailcap, as with a flu-pic;
- Even after the light is latched on a certain level, a quick off-on will advance to the next. You don't have to turn it off and start over.

- After Hi, the light will start blinking. If you turn it off-on anywhere between 2 - 4 blinks, it enters the sub-loop of funtions, and again you can leave it on one function, then advance it to the next by an off-on.

- An off-on after one blink, or 5 - 9 blinks, will just revert back to the beginning, or low.

- An off-on after 10 blinks activates SOS mode, and exiting SOS starts you over as well.

- Leaving the light off for more than 0.3 sec anywhere in the program will start you over at low. This is nice because you can never get lost.

Re: FS: Tower Module II, Surefire M6; HDS, TnC

I have it in my possession (I took pix) and used very little.......turned on several times and played with..........I forgot that Arc mania (Mike Jordan) had changed to a P4.....my error........the whiteness and beam shape are very similar to Lux V....... sorry for the confusion. "Xflash", if you now don't want to take it, "Fuhgetaboudit" has expressed a desire, as well?

Sorry for my "old brain" confusion.....

Thanks Fuhgetaboudit,
I feel bad now, was never that good of a shot anyway.
This does look like a great light and I have been looking for one to have my friend Icarus to mod for me, but think I will just keep this the way it is since it comes with the digital tower, I never even know there was such a thing.
Thanks Again, and I am sorry.
:rolleyes:
