I was inspired to create this thread after viewing the incredible Arc Tank Light photos in this HID thread, so I'll start it off with these borrowed pics:

Whilst photos of beams shooting laserlike into the night sky look impressive they don't give us any idea of the real life usefulness of the light.
Cool shots :devil: but not too sure how useful they are.

WOW! That first photo gave me a flashback to the old "Doom" and "Doom2" days, because it made me think of the plasma gun from those games!
