Fake Bosch HID conversions

Beware, There are fake Chinese made HID Headlight H4 Conversions being sold all around the world. HID Globes cannot be fitted to H4 lens and reflectors as they cannot be focussed and produce stray light which dazzles oncoming drivers. The Fakes are in Blue and white boxes branded Bosch. The ballast inside is red, black and yellow (German colours).

Fact 1 Bosch does not manufacture any HID Conversion kits.
Fact 2 Bosch only manufactures original equipment HID lighting.

I work at Bosch in Service engineering and receive many complaints about these fake lights with buyers abusing us for making rubbish.

Bosch has had the factories in China producing this rubbish shut down and is taking legal action against the manufacturers.

Thanks Bob. If you'll pardon the expression, around here we take a dim view of these illegal HID conversions. It seems every few weeks I come across someone who has done it and is spraying light all over the place instead of on the road where it should be. It's inconsiderate and dangerous.
