Is there any reason why running 3 P7's in series would not be a good idea?:thinking:

I'm planning a mod for 3 P7's and would prefer to run them each with their own driver, but I still haven't found any yet.:poke:

Does anyone have any ideas on what battery set-up in an M6 body would supply enough current for the 3 P7's if I do run them in series?

Any help would be great.

I just got the emitters in the mail today and already have the reflectors, :thumbsup:now I just need to figure out a good way to power 3 P7's:ohgeez:

In an M6, you're a bit limited by the size, but I think 3x17670 in series should work, with a current-limiting resistor of some sort. It might be possible to use the stock MB20 filled with 16340s, but you'd probably need an even bigger resistor for that (unless you use unprotected cells, which could be hazardous). It depends on the Vf of your emitters and the short-circuit threshold of the Li-Ions, assuming they're protected.
