It's funny, but my HDS U60GT gets lower than my Novatac 120p ... in fact my U60GT gets obviously lower.... also lower than ANY of my other flash lights.... even sad little incans that are old.... funny, eh? If the LF5XT gets ANY where near the lower level of the P120..... and even brighter than my P120 .... the LF5XT could be the only light I need (gasp, I know!) .... Then again, I do now have a TK10, which blows away my P120 :) ... in throw, and spill!

From the info so far you should expect higher output on high, and not as low on low. Little good and bad there...
Looking at lightreview, the LF5XT goes both much higher and much lower then the 120P, and the LF5XT also has better runtime.

Thats because in that review, the lowest tested output level on the 120P was level 18(30 lumens), it goes all the way down to level 1(.08 lumens).
