Malkoff M60 Lens Wobbly...

Well, I did drop it down the stairs during my shock testing to see if I could put one in my SF shotgun forend... It seems that the plastic nubs holding the lens in aren't exactly designed for that kind of treatment.

Has anyone tried using a drop of some sort of hi-temp glue to hold the lens in? I did bend the nubs a bit and that works for now, but I would like a longer term solution for general use. I think a shotgun may be a bit much for it however.

Of course, in NO WAY am I blaming Malkoff for any issues. The M60 seems very well designed and works awesome for it's intended purpose, dropping in and putting lumens out!

Thanks for any info,

Dennis.

Don't glue it. Optics work by refraction, and glue disrupts the air-acrylic interface and will ruin the optic.
